Spaghetti with Tuna and Basilico Sauce

  • 1 garlic clove, finely chopped
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp parsley, chopped (optional)
  • 250g Barilla Spaghetti
  • 150g fresh tuna, cut into 1-2cm cubes
  • 200g Barilla Basilico Sauce

Step By Step Guide

Step 1

Bring plentry of water to a boil in a big pot. When boiling, add salt. Drop the Barilla Spaghetti into the water and stir. Cook according to instructions on the pack.

Step 2

In a large frying pan, gently fry the garlic in a little olive oil until golden; add the tuna and cook for a minute on medium heat; finally add the Barilla Basilico sauce and bring to a simmer; season with salt and pepperto taste.

Step 3

Drain pasta 'al dente' and toss it into the frying pan with a little cooking water to allow the pasta to finish cooking in the pan. Serve the pasta with your favourite garnishing.
